BCBGeneration romper via Charlotte’s ClosetAeropostale wedges

The Meatpacking District is one area in Manhattan that never gets old. The Upper East Side can be monotonous, the Lower East Side can be trashy, and Midtown just sucks. But Chelsea and Meatpacking are always trendy, sexy, and full of adventure.

On a sunny Manhattan day last week, I ventured out with Silkstaq to dress up and prepare for spring. We decided to shoot right in front of the Apple store, which is probably one of my favorite locations in NYC. I used to intern in that neighborhood, my sister used to live there, and it’s a place that everyone basically wants to live in yet no one can afford.

Gotta love New York. Shooting with a rad Marie Claire photographer and the Silkstaq team was a blast. Did this romper fit? No, it was one size too small. BUT, the great thing about fashion is everything can be edited, zipped, expanded, or whatever. Fashion comes down to confidence. If you’re confident, you can work anything out.
