Most of us have gone to college, and we've gone through the whole "broke but trying to be cute" thing. Been there, done that, right? Well, through our search to find some of our fav student bloggers, we found Grace from Gracefullee Made. With over 10k followers on Instagram, a crazy relatable story, and style that's country chic, we've fallen in love with this girl! She's also very into beauty, and since Silkstaq is transforming into a beauty/ fashion website (and shortly, app!), she's a blogger we're honored to have on the site.
S: Tell us about yourself! You're a student, right?
My name is Grace Lee, and I'm the founder and curator of Gracefullee Made - a style blog. I've been blogging for almost six years now. I am currently enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a concentration in public relations.
S: What makes Silkstaq different from other platforms you've seen?
The layout of the site makes it easy to manage and read blogs. It's different in the sense that it provides trending hashtags to search over the site, therefore making specific searches more accessible.
S: What's your best advice for students who want to break out and do something different with their life?
My best advice is to take that big step and just do it. Want to start a blog? A YouTube channel? Create one. It's definitely easier said than done, but making that big step to follow your dreams allows you to move forward in the direction you want to head in. It also shows that you have that determination and willpower to put yourself out there. Also, in a world full of blogs and influencers, standing out simply means being yourself and staying true to your name, your brand, and your style.
S: Since you're now 21! What's your favorite cocktail?
My favorite cocktail is an apple cinnamon sangria.
S: Model of the moment?
Thanks, Grace! Make sure to follow Grace on Silkstaq NOW!
